Elkins Middle School's own, Tessa Garver-Daniels, won Art Educator of the Year for West Virginia! Mrs.G-D. coordinated the conference this year and was also elected by her fellow art teachers as the new president for their association starting January 2023. She was gifted a super cool Blenko glass vase as a thank you for all her hard work coordinating the conference, too.
Did we mention that she was chosen as 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year last spring for Elkins Middle School AND for the whole Randolph County school system?
Go, Mrs. Garver-Daniels! Thank you for bringing so much beauty and art education to our school and community.
